Dear Cinephiles / Colleagues / Friends,
Lets celebrate Halloween at Cafe Cinema!
"Thirst" (2009) by Chan-wook Park
As our monthly screening session at Cafe Cinema is coincidentally right on Halloween, we have decided to reserve it for an extraordinary stunning film; "Thirst" by Chan Wook-Park from South Korea, is a fantastic horror-comedy, which has been nominated for golden palm and won the Jury prize (tied with Fish Tank by And...rea Arnold) at Cannes Film Festival in 2009.
Put this fantastic event in your schedule right away and join us on 31 October at 6:00 PM for watching this extra ordinary masterpiece, participate in our free discussion / Q&A round table, and listen to our critics’ analysis!
Film critics presented in this session in alphabetical order:
> Alain Jacques Chouinard, PHD Candidate in Film Studies at Concordia University
> Gilda Boffa, Master's degree in Film Studies from Concordia University
> Morad Sadeghi, Master's degree student in Film Studies at Concordia University
